FISHH
Goals:
The goal of the FISH2 Workshop is to increase student and teacher knowledge of Foods, Investigations, Soils, and Healthy Habits (FISH2). In this free
teacher workshop, participants will engage in week-long indoor and outdoor investigations into plants, soil, and healthy habits for the planet and body.
Participants will work in collaborative teams to explore concepts through worm composting, soil composition, and seed germination. Teachers will gain
valuable teaching and learning experiences with rigorous scientific investigations in diverse settings and have the opportunity to extend their classrooms
into the cafeteria and community to make learning more meaningful and engaging for their students.
